Scaling:
Intermediate athletes can complete this workout as prescribed and just stop at the 25-minute cap. Choose a medicine ball that allows you to complete the large middle rounds in no more than 3 sets. Consider reducing the number of shuttle runs.
Beginner Option:
6-lb medicine ball, 9-ft target, 25-ft shuttle (out and back counts as 2), lying to standing rope climbs
10-lb medicine ball, 9-ft target, 25-ft shuttle (out and back counts as 2), lying to standing rope climbs
Etc., adding 1 muscle-up and 5 med-ball cleans each round.
Use a 14/20-lb. ball for both exercises.

Scaling:
This couplet starts out quick in the earlier rounds, and tests muscle stamina as the reps increase. Pick a muscle-up modification that works both a pull and a push.
Intermediate Option:
Complete as much as possible in 12 minutes of:
1 muscle-up
5 medicine-ball cleans
2 muscle-ups
10 medicine-ball cleans
3 muscle-ups
15 medicine-ball cleans
4 muscle-ups
20 medicine-ball cleans
Etc., adding 1 muscle-up and 5 med-ball cleans each round.
Scaling:
Reduce the reps of shuttle runs in order to keep that portion under 5 minutes. If you are new to the rope climb, watch The Rope Climb (Basket) and The Rope Climb (Wrapping) and practice the wrapping styles, but consider modifying the movement for the workout. If you do not have access to a climbing rope, the towel pull-up is a comparable option. Reduce the load on the bench press in order to perform large sets.

Scaling:
Reduce the weight at each interval, beginning with a load you can move for the full minute without dropping the barbell. Newer athletes should focus less on a max set and more on squat clean mechanics.
